I am editing my Self-Summary. Seems I needed to or so I was told. Please do not respond if you don't have a photo posted. I am recently out of a long term, monogamous (or so I thought) relationship. He found someone younger, much younger....OH WELL, events occur. So, I haven't dated for a while and am "brand new" to this on line stuff. Please don't mislead. I'll skirt around things sometime to avoid hurting someone's heart. I just might surprise you. I do have Parkinson's disease and live quite well with it. Most of the time one would not know I have it if, I didn't say so. I am on a medication that works for me. I could have been striken with so much worse. When needed, I do have a serious side to me. I think I'm finally starting to get used to "interacting" with "humanity" on a healthy, constructive level. I can still be difficult at times though, and I'm ALWAYS awkward. And still shy, and pretty quiet.

I was raised in a very conservative environment, in a town closely resembling suburban hell, but for the past three years I've been trying my hardest to break away from that and figure out where I really belong, without abandoning the people I care about. It's been an incredible ride so far, but there's a long ways to go yet. I'm still changing faster than even I can keep track of sometimes. I find myself becoming increasingly immersed in alternative subcultures, currently with a great deal of interest in serious sustainable living and experimenting with new social structures. Ask me. Or tell me what you think. I'm still learning a great deal.

I consider myself intellectual and something of a philosopher, but at my core I am (somewhat paradoxically) both a spiritualist and a skeptic, and nearly everything about me is influenced by these deeper traits.

I'm not really looking for a relationship right now so much as new people to form strong connections with. I'm polyamorous and involved with one person currently, with other emotional ties in a couple of places. Friendship, sexuality, and love are very fluid for me, but I control the shifting boundaries rather well.

I have just realized I need to update my profile. I just moved back "home" (Brazoria County) after about 6 years in Dallas. So, my life is in a transition stage right now. I had two family members have health problems and it hit me: I miss home, I'm ALWAYS trying to find the time and vacation to visit "home" so what the heck am I still doing in Dallas? So I took a leap of faith, after a lot of consideration, sleepless nights and prayer. Ultimately I will probably wind up working in the legal field in Houston, whether it be the public or private sector. I'd like to live south of Houston...maybe Pearland, as that would keep me close enough to Houston but still plenty close to my family and my beloved beach. That is, unless a wonderful job opens up here south of Houston, which'd be just awesome! As for Rock Band and video games I've finally made the transition to the xBox LoL!!! I'll have to sit down at the computer and make these two profile thoughts more cohesive when I get a better feel of where I'm going. In the meantime, hello Brazoria County!!! Well, I grew up in a small community south of Houston and LOVE the beach. I moved up to Dallas about 6 years ago. I like it up here, other than missing the family, friends and beach. Iâ??m a total beach bum â?? in every possible regard. I used to love fishing when I lived on the coast, but just canâ??t quite make myself get into fresh water fishing. I keep telling myself Iâ??ve got to develop a love for the lakes and fresh water, but so far it hasnâ??t happened. I think I should have been born a Yankee though. I prefer the colder months over the hot ones by far. Itâ??s not that I dislike the outdoors. Itâ??s that I cannot STAND Texas heat. So during the warm months if Iâ??m outside Iâ??m only happy if a body of water is involved. There isnâ??t anything super duper substantial that stands out as far as my life goes. Iâ??m a fairly normal human being. I am a Paralegal and do the whole Monday through Friday daily grind. Iâ??m also working a second part-time job from home right now thanks to our wonderful economy (yes, thatâ??s sarcasm). So, spare time isnâ??t as common as it used to be. I absolutely love music. If Iâ??m in my car, music is playing, and preferably LOUD. I grew up in the 80s and still love that distorted guitar â??rockâ?? sound. Yes, that includes the â??hair bands.â?? But in reality, I can listen to anything but country. As much as I absolutely love music, I equally despise country music. I can listen to anything BUT country. More often than not, if I have spare time, youâ??d find me having drinks at a bar or chillinâ?? at home or with friends, watching movies or television, tinkering with the computer, or presently, playing Rock Band on the PS2 â?? LoL. I still havenâ??t decided if that game is a blessing or a curse. Itâ??s making me want my drum set back BAD. I donâ??t have kids, but have quite a handful of nephews and nieces that I love dearly and mean the world to me. I love anything relating to true-crime or the paranormal. Unless Iâ??m watching movies, thatâ??s usually whatâ??s on my TV. As for movies, I got burned out on the love stories years ago. My favorites are the suspense ones. I grew up on horror and still enjoy it, but tend to gravitate more toward suspense, whether it be ghosts or a bad guy, than the hacker flicks these days.

If I had to describe myself. I would say I was outgoing, witty, a very good listener. Strangers love to just strike up a conversation with me and tell me things about their personal life. I should have been a phychiastrist instead of working in the education field. I am 5"7 average build.

i was raised as a cowboy so i know a good bit of it, through high school i was a punk, I'm not really sure how u would place me but i love computers, fishing, hunting,.... usually if I'm not sitting at the house I'm out with my buddies or walking around in the pasture . if i had to describe myself i couldn't. im a little different, but everyone says im fun, my biggest flaw is that i will do almost anything to make people happy...even if it cost me my own happyness.....

I'm a very fun loving person. I love music and staying in shape. I am a musician and I have recorded three albums. I have a great sense of humor and love joking around. I used to be really into drinking and other things..but have been sober almost 2 years now.

I am a sailor, although I am sans ship right now. Yes, I am married, and am not looking for a new wife. The marriage is great! (if you are still reading then here I go) I love to cook, and have yet to find a type of food I don't like... A great day is where you have to push yourself to succeed in whatever your goals may be...While I might seem a bit shy at first, it's only a matter of getting to know me to understand that I'm not afraid to speak my mind. I've been a soldier in the Army, A cowboy on a ranch, a computer tech for a major company, and now I'm a store manager for a retail company.

I recently found that I love tattoos, after having a back piece done I now want more. 6'5", 265, blonde hair and green eyes. I'm a college student going to UNT and studying psychology and behavioral science.(finished that so I'm chillin in LJ til I move up into the next phase next semester) I'm a voracious and eclectic reader. I like my video games and my computer, but I'm nothing of a basement rat. I go out with my that and I'm chilli or I stay in with my friends but I do quite enjoy socializing, as long as you don't piss me off, which they don't-so great, haha. I don't know if I could like music much more, and I don't really know a type I completely hate. I enjoy going to concerts and finding bands I've never heard of before. Apparently in the community of guys that like guys I'm considered a "cub", I fit in but don't identify with the whole bear thing, woof-my ass, haha. I'm also one of those people who enjoys exploring abandoned buildings and places where I'm not supposed to be, but just to take pictures or see things, not to mess anything up.

Don't really know what to say about myself but here we go! I like people in general. I don't appreciate when someone is rude! I can respect anyone and everyone's opinion. Well to a certain extent. I mean some people can go overboard. For the most part I can roll with it. I play as hard as I work, and I work pretty hard. I enjoy teaching US History at a community college but I don't live for work. Life is full of surprises and I strive to enjoy the journey, not just the destination. Meeting new people, trying out new things, challenging myself and fulfilling those challenges are all important aspects of my life. Yet I also enjoy the comfort of routines, reliable friends and a stable personal and professional life.

I enjoy nearly anything outdoors, swimming, fishing, camping, hiking. Then again I also delight in an evening at the movies, dancing, visiting, reading or watching TV.

I have made props to be used in the filming of the Disney movie "Rocketman", I have run into a burning building, I have had someone die right in front of me and not been able to save them, I have a part in a safety video about lasers, I have pulled people from a bad wreck, I have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, I have lobbied in our State Capitol, I have worked with Senators and Representatives to bring about change in our school district, I along with two other men have brought about change in State public education laws, I have run for school board, I worked for the man who's job it was to get the astronauts on and back off of the surface of the moon, I have been in a board of directors meeting where their total combined personal assets were in excess of 2.2 billion dollars, I have had my own company, I have operated a laser cutting metal, , I have done construction, I have written for and too newspapers, I have learned to ride a dirtbike, I have been a roady for a band, I have watched the sunrise at the beach, I have been too (and enjoyed) the orchestra, I have been too many midnight opening of movies (even if I had work the next day), I have been fired, I have hiked 20+ miles in one day, I have slept under the stars, I have had cancer (twice), I have had people I know try to commit suicide and at least one succeed, I have helped build a log cabin, I have respect for the American Flag, I have been in many parades, I have been to the drag races, I have stayed up for 3 days straight, I have have a problem with math, I have been to haunted houses, I have slept in a house where strange and unexplained things have happened, I have been in an old abandoned graveyard at midnight 5 miles from nowhere, I have been scuba diving, I have ridden on top of a glass elevator, I have been a friend to many, I have been the enemy of few (I hope), I have a dislike of eggs,seafood,milk and vegetables, I have a fondness of pizza and cheese

I love to tease and joke with people. I live near Houston just outside a little town named Brazoria. I moved to this area from Mississippi after college. I am a small town Paramedic and Dad. I spend most of my time when not at work with Kids doing whatever strikes our fancy at the time. We do alot of spontaneous activities. My 7 year old is playing football at the moment and practices three days a week and games on Saturday. I work 48 hour shifts followed by four days off which works out great with the kids. I like most all outdoor activities , most kid games and activities.
